RESOLUTION NO. /56 )-ar <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND COMMON COUNCIL <br /> PURSUANT TO IC 36-1 -7-1 ET SEQ, <br /> FURTHER AMENDING THE AMENDED CHARTER AGREEMENT <br /> OF THE ST. JOSEPH COUNTY JOB TRAINING PROGRAM, <br /> AUTHORIZING ITS BOARD TO MEET QUARTERLY. <br /> WHEREAS, in 1983 the Common Council of the City of South Bend <br /> passed a Resolution approving the Amended Charter Agreement with the <br /> St. Joseph County Job Training Program, authorizing the City of South <br /> Bend to enter into such Agreement for and upon the behalf of the City <br /> of South Bend ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the St. Joseph County Job Training Program has been <br /> running well and efficiently since September, 1983 ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of the St. Joseph County Job Training <br /> Program believes that it does not need to meet as frequently as <br /> originally anticipated when the Program was set up. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the <br /> City of South Bend that : <br /> SECTION 1 . The Amended Charter Agreement of the St. Joseph <br /> County Job Training Program, a copy of which is attached hereto , and <br /> made a part hereof as Exhibit "A" , is hereby approved by the South Bend <br /> Common Council . <br /> SECTION 2.
