(Blackthorn <br />Golf Course) <br /> <br /> <br />(3) Resolution No. 2544 related to acquisition <br />of property in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. (Burton properties) <br /> <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that the Burton properties <br />are ten properties owned by Barry and Ilene <br />Burton (eight parcels) and Burton <br />Investments (two parcels) which are needed <br />for the relocation of TRANSPO headquarters <br />and maintenance operations. The properties <br />are generally located at the northwest corner <br />of Franklin and Indiana Streets. Three of the <br />properties are north of a rail line and are on <br />the Commission’s acquisition list; the other <br />seven are south of the rail line and have not <br />been put on the acquisition list. They are <br />being donated to the City of South Bend <br />through the Board of Public Works. <br />Resolution No. 2544 sets the offering price <br />for the three properties north of the rail line <br />at $690,300, total.
