Cy p ORDINANCE NO. 5 71/1 AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND APPROVING A CERTAIN CONTRACT ENTER- ED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE MUNICIPAL CITY WATER WORKS DE- PARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,, INDIANA. AND THE PITTSBURGH-DES MOINES STEEL COMPANY OF CHICAGO.. ILLINOIS, FOR THE FURNISHING BY SAID COMPANY OF A TOWER AND TANK FOR SAID MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS DEPARTMENT. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana. SECTION 1. That a certain contract entered into by and between the Municipal City Water Works Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and the Pittsburgh-Des Moines Steel Company of Chicago, Illinois, whereby said Water Department contracted and agreed to purchase and said Pittsburgh-Des Moines Company contracted and agreed to furnish, erect, and complete a steel tower and tank, which contract was entered into, in triplicate, on February 19th, 1929, and a copy of which contract is hereto attached, marked Exhibit ''An and hereby made a part of this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby ratified, confirmed and approved.
