ORDINANCE NO. 4 74/ 7 <br /> •', <br /> An Ordinance ratifying a certain contract between the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public Works and the <br /> James B. Clow and Sons for the purchase of Cast Iron Pipe, <br /> Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br /> Indiana: <br /> SECTION 1. That a certain contract executed on the 19th day <br /> of February 1929, by and between the City of South Bend, via through its <br /> Board of Public Works for the purchase of One Thousand Five Hundred <br /> (1500) tons of 6" to 24" Cast Iron Water Pipe, Class "C" American Water <br /> Works specifications, with the privilege of increasing or decreasing the <br /> above requirements within a range -of 3O%, all evidenced by a certain <br /> letter from the James B. Clow and Sons, February 18th, 1929, and a resolution <br /> accepting the offer contained in the same letter adopted February 19th, and <br /> that the same as hereby ratified, confirmed and approved. <br /> SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br /> and after its passage. <br /> Member of the Common until <br /> I; <br /> • <br /> III <br />
