Michigan St. <br /> Only one bill was listed for consideration by Mr. Oliver Davis' Zoning and Annexation Committee. As <br /> Chair, Oliver announced that he would proceed with the hearing for bill 35-15 even though the lack of a <br /> quorum would prevent any official action. <br /> The bill in question asks the Council to approve a change in zoning from CB Community Business to MU <br /> Mixed Use. In addition four variances were requested. Matt Chappuies,a planner for the Area Plan <br /> Commission explained the request. He said the petitioner, Flowers by Stephen,wanted to convert and <br /> utilize second floor space for an apartment. Side issues or variances also included parking, location of <br /> the trash bin and landscaping.
