IMPROVEMENTS
The improvements section of this report contains the following:
Summary description (Below)
Building Components (Next Page)
Buildings Sketch Page 11
Photos Page 12-14
Assessor's Property Record Cards Pages 15
The building has had a broad range of uses throughout its life. The first section of the building
was reportedly built as part of the Singer Complex around 1900. Over the years two sections and
an upper level have been added to the building. The characteristics of the building are as
follows:
Building Wall Construction Year Size(SF)
Section Height Class Built
1 9' C C.1900 3,196
2 9' C C.1926 6,188
3 9' C C. 1964 11,424
4 9' C C. 1940 99400
30,332
The interior of the building has a dated appearance. The ceiling, floor coverings, and interior
walls don not appear to have recent updating. The roof cover is reported to be in poor condition
and leaking is noted.
Section three'of the building contains a bowling area. There are twelve lanes in this area. The
remainder of the building contains gathering spaces.
This building lends itself to special purpose uses such as churches, social halls, etc. The back
portion of the building(11,424SF)would be ideal for gathering space while the remainder of the
building would serve as reception and class space.
For the property to reach its maximally productive use the interior of the building requires
updating to meet the needs to a typical special purpose user and the roof cover needs
replacement.
9
