On behalf of all of the citizens of the City of <br /> South Bend , Indiana , the Common Council wishes to publicly <br /> commend all of the individuals who contributed their time and . <br /> talents in the production of "Urban Whitewater '86. " <br /> SECTION II. The Common Council wishes to commend these same <br /> dedicated professionals in being awarded a bronze medal and <br /> placing third in the Special Sports Presentation category by the <br /> International Film and Television Festival of New York for "Urban <br /> Whitewater '86 . " <br /> SECTION III . The Common Council believes that by <br /> accentuating such events as the East Race Waterway through "Urban <br /> Whitewater '86" and other slalom and kayak competitions, the City <br /> of South Bend will truly become "Alive with Pride. " <br /> SECTION IV. This Resolution shall be in full force and <br /> effect from and after its adoption by the Common Council and <br /> approval (by the Mayor. /fit <br /> T.
