RESOLUTION NO. l `I ' - g7 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br /> INDIANA, RECONFIRMING THE PERIOD OF DEDUCTIONS APPROVED <br /> FOR THE DESIGNATIONS OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES <br /> PREVIOUSLY QUALIFYING AS ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION <br /> AREAS FOR PURPOSES OF PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. , 6-1.1-12.1-1 et sect. and local ordinance <br /> regulations, the Common Council has reviewed various petitions requesting <br /> personal and/or real property tax abatement; and <br /> WHEREAS, proper notice with regard to the necesssary Declaratory <br /> Resolutions and Confirming Resolutions as well as reports from the <br /> Department of Economic Development and the Hunan Resources and Economic <br /> Development Committee have been completed pursuant to applicable provisions <br /> of Sections 2-76 through 2-79 of the Municipal Code of the City of South <br /> Bend; and <br /> WHEREAS, discussions have taken place between the City of South Bend <br /> and the Auditor's Office of St. Joseph County whereby it was agreed that a <br /> reconfirming resolution would be appropriate in order to clarify the periods <br /> of deductions previously authorized for certain property tax abatements. <br /> WHEREAS, the following Resolution carries out that objective. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br /> SECTION I . The Common Council hereby reconfirms the following areas <br /> previously designated as Economic Revitalization Areas for purposes of real <br /> and/or personal property tax abatement and reconfirms the periods of time <br /> authorized for deductions: <br /> (1) a. Owner: W. Thomas and Margaret K. Peck <br /> b. Property Address: 3302 W. Rosetta Drive <br /> South Bend, IN 46628 <br /> c. Council Resolution No. 1227-84 adopted 11-19-84 <br /> d. Type of Abatement: Real <br /> e. Deductions authorized for ten (10) calendar years. <br /> (2) a. Owner: Crescent Realty Corporation <br /> b. Property Address: 316 E. Monroe <br /> South Bend, IN <br /> c. Council Resolution No. 1156-84 adopted 6-11-84 <br /> d. Type of Abatement: Real <br /> e. Deductions authorized for ten (10) years. <br /> (3) a.
