el/ ;?-1 ' <br /> (pet' DI 85- <br /> ORDINANCE NO ,••• <br /> An Ordinance ratifying a certain contract between the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public Works, <br /> and the Lynchburg Foundry Company, Lynchburg, Virginia, for the <br /> purchase of Cast Iron Pipe. <br /> Be it ordained by the Common Council of <br /> the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br /> SECTION 1. That a certain contract executed <br /> on the 3rd day of January, 1930, by and between the City of South <br /> Bend, via through its Board of Public Works for the purchase of <br /> Fifteen Hundred (1500) tons of 6" to 24" Cast Iron Water Pipe, Class <br /> "C" American Water Works specifications, with the privilege of in- <br /> creasing or decreasing the above requirement within a range of 30%, <br /> all as evidenced by a certain letter, herewith attached, from the <br /> Lynchburg Foundry Company, January 29th, 1930, and a resolution <br /> accepting the offer contained in the same letter adopted February 3rd, <br /> and that the same as hereby ratified, confirmed and approved. <br /> SECTION 2.
