el/ ;?-1 ' (pet' DI 85- ORDINANCE NO ,••• An Ordinance ratifying a certain contract between the City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public Works, and the Lynchburg Foundry Company, Lynchburg, Virginia, for the purchase of Cast Iron Pipe. Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION 1. That a certain contract executed on the 3rd day of January, 1930, by and between the City of South Bend, via through its Board of Public Works for the purchase of Fifteen Hundred (1500) tons of 6" to 24" Cast Iron Water Pipe, Class "C" American Water Works specifications, with the privilege of in- creasing or decreasing the above requirement within a range of 30%, all as evidenced by a certain letter, herewith attached, from the Lynchburg Foundry Company, January 29th, 1930, and a resolution accepting the offer contained in the same letter adopted February 3rd, and that the same as hereby ratified, confirmed and approved.
