All property used in the performance of this contract <br /> hall be and remain the property of the Contractor. <br /> The Contractor shall at its cost, furnish all lamp <br /> enewals and light all lamps herein provided for a period <br /> terminating with._the termination ot_the General Q.ontract for Stree , <br /> lighting, which termination date is_ Janvary 1,I935, at noon. <br /> All the lamps which shall be provided and maintained <br /> y this Contractor shall be so operated that they will give the <br /> aximum amount of illumination obtainable. <br /> 2, Additional street lighting units referred to herein <br /> Is railway elevation underpass lights, shall be added from time <br /> o time upon written notice from the City, provided, however, that <br /> got more than two (2) additional lamps shall be ordered at any <br /> Itreet crossing, payment therefor shall be at the rate provided <br /> i'or in this contract , commencing on the day on which the lamps are <br /> o be in service. <br /> 3. All lamps herein provided for shall be burned from <br /> one-half hour after sunset until one-half hour before sunrise, <br /> very night and all night, burning approximately four thousand <br /> (4000) hours per annum. <br /> 4. The number of lamps furnished and lighted under <br /> this contract shall be the number provided for in Paragraph 1 <br /> .ereof and shall be located as shown on prints attached hereto <br /> and identified by the signatures of the Contractor and the Board <br /> of Public Works, <br /> 5. All outages shall be reported daily in writing by <br /> the proper officials of the City to the Contractor and the proper <br /> officials of the City may deduct from the total monthly amount <br /> which would have been paid ?or amy lamp so reported on any <br /> outage occurring, the sum bearing the ratio to such total <br /> -4- <br />
