I r0 / <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FIFTEEN HUNDRED AND <br /> FIFTY-NINE DOLLARS AND THIRTY-FIVE CENTS FROM THE <br /> GENERAL FUND TO THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT. <br /> KNOWN AS B-11-a REFUNDS. AWARDS AND INDEM- <br /> NITIES. WITH WHICH TO REIMBURSE PRESENT <br /> AND FORMER CITY TREASURER. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of L <br /> South Bend, Indiana. <br /> SECTION L <br /> That the sum of Seven Hundred and Thirty-four Dollars <br /> and Twenty-one Cents ($734.21) be and the same is hereby appropriated <br /> from the General Fund to the Finance Department Account known as <br /> B-11a Refunds, Awards and Indemnities, with which to reimburse George <br /> A. Swintz, City Treasurer,—for penalties on delinquent improvement <br /> accounts collected by said Treasurer deposited into General Fund of <br /> said City. - / <br /> SECTION 2. _� <br /> That the sum of Eighundred and Twenty-five Dollars and <br /> Fourteen Cents ($825.14) be and the same is hereby appropriated from <br /> the General Fund to the Finance Department Account, known as B-11a <br /> Refunds, Awards and Indemnities, with which to reimburse Duncan J. <br /> Campbell, former City Treasurer, for penalties on delinquent improve- <br /> ment accounts collected by said Treasurer deposited into General <br /> Fund of said City. <br /> Both said appropriations in accordance with the direction <br /> of the State Board of Accounts. <br /> SECTION. 3. <br /> This Ordinance shall be in full force and effectfrom and <br /> after its passage and legal publication and hearing. <br /> MEMBER OF THE COMMON OUNCIL <br /> GENTLEMEN OF THE COMMON COUNCIL: <br /> I recommend the passage of the above ordinance. <br /> . 7 0 �o <br /> At. <br />
