CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />PETTITION FOR RESIDENTIAL REAL PROPERTY TAX <br />ABATEMENT <br />The undersigned owner of real property, located within the City <br />of South Bend, hereby petition the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend for Residential Real Property Tax Abatement <br />consideration and pursuant to Indiana Code.,6-1,1-12.1-1, et <br />se~C., and South Bend Municipal Code Sec 2-76 et seq., for this <br />petition states the following: <br />1. Describe the proposed construction project, including <br />information about square footage, number of rooms, amenities, the <br />amount of land to be used, and the proposed use of the <br />improvements, and a general statement as to the importance of the <br />project: <br />Garden Homes intends to construct new three bedroom, five <br />room homes of 1,036, on a full 8'insulated basement. Home <br />will have a 20' x 21' attached garage, vinyl siding, stove, <br />dishwasher, and vent hood and garbage disposal. The home <br />will be built on a large pie shaped lot that will be seeded <br />upon completion of the home. The cost of the homes will be <br />ninety five thousand six hundred and twenty thousand dollar. <br />The importance of this project to the city and the residence <br />of the city is that we will be building affordable homes on <br />infill lots in the City of South Bend. <br />2. Estimate the dollar value of the redevelopment project: <br />$95,620 per lot <br />3.
