b <br />ORDINANCE NO. ^�( 07�`'5 6 <br />An Ordinance providing for the disbursement of the <br />monies received by the City o£ South Bend from the <br />State of Indiana from the Gasoline Tax. <br />Section 1. Be it ordained by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that all monies <br />received by the City of South Bend, Indiana from the State <br />of Indiana from the proceeds of gasoline tax shall be de- <br />posited to the account of the Board of Public Works of <br />said City to be used by said Board in the maintenance and <br />repair of streets and bridges within the corporate limits <br />of said City. The said Board shall give preference to <br />State thoroughfares through the City in the use of said <br />funds but next to the maintenance and repair and upkeep <br />of.said main thoroughfares shall use the balance of said <br />funds upon the streets and highways of said City in such <br />plaees and at such times as may seem necessary to said <br />Board of Public works. <br />,Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force <br />and effect from and after its passage. <br />Member of the Common Council <br />
