Rouse <br />President, South Bend Common Council <br />4`i' Floor, County-City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />Re: Ordinance Approving Repayment Schedule for Major Moves Fund Loan on Douglas <br />Road Expansion Project <br />Dear President Rouse: <br />The sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) was appropriated in 2007 through Ordinance No. <br />9801-07, clarified by Ordinance No. 9851-08. This appropriation was for the purpose of <br />improving and expanding Douglas. Road west of its intersection of State Road 23 to the <br />Mishawaka city limits. The enclosed ordinance approves a schedule for repayment of the Major <br />Moves loan. <br />At this time, we are in the process of revising a preliminary amortization schedule. However, <br />due to the filing deadline, the final version of the amortization schedule cannot be attached. <br />Once we have finalized the terms of repayment, we will provide this to the Council as an exhibit <br />to the ordinance, and a substitute version of the ordinance will be filed providing the missing <br />information. <br />_ I will present this ordinance to the Council at its Personnel and Finance Committee meeting and <br />at its regular business meeting. <br />Thank you for your consideration. <br />el <br />.
