'~~~~\ fJo~ oil-c~.~ <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS <br />719 and 725 Turnock Street <br />AS RESIDENTIALLY DISTRESSED AREAS FOR PURPOSES OF A <br />(5) FIVE-YEAR RESIDENTIAL REAL <br />PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR <br />Northeast Neighborhood Revitalization Organization, Inc. and Weiss Homes, <br />Inc. <br />WHEREAS, a Statement of Benefits and a petition for residential real properly tax <br />abatement have been submitted to and filed with the City Clerk for consideration by the <br />Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, requesting that the area commonly known <br />as 719 and 725 Turnock Street, South Bend, Indiana, and which is more particularly described as <br />follows: . <br />A part of the West half of the Southeast quarter of Section 1, Township 37 North, Range <br />2 East, Portage Township, City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, more particularly <br />described as follows: <br />Lots D and E of Turnock's subdivision of a part of Turnock and Mack's addition to the <br />City of South Bend as recorded in Plat book 9, page 82, in the Office of Recorder of said county. <br />Also including the North 7 feet of a 14 foot wide alley being the first east-west alley lying south <br />of Kalorama Street between Turnock Street and the first North-South alley east of North St. <br />Louis Boulevard. <br />Subject to rights-of--way, easements, covenants, and restrictions of record. <br />and this property has Tax Key Numbers 18-5034-1224 and 18-5034-1225, be designated as a <br />Residentially Distressed Area under the provisions of Indiana Code 6-1.1-12.1 et seq., and South <br />Bend Municipal Code Sections 2-76 et se ., and; <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Community and Economic Development has concluded <br />
