CONTRACT OF PURCHASE THIS AGREEMENT, made by and between the SHERMAN- SCHAUS MOTOR CORPORATION of South Bend, Indiana, party of the first part, and CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, by its Board of Public Safety, party of the second part: Witnesseth: That the party of the first part agrees to sell upon the terms and conditions herein set forth a complete automobile ambulance in accordance with the specifications on file with the Department of Public Safety of said city. Delivery to be made at South Bend, Indiana on or before the 20th day of December, 1930. That the party of the first part warrants all appaaatus to be free from defects in material and workmanship. That the party of the second part agrees to purchase and pay for the aforesaid ambulance the sum of THREE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($3750.00), in cash upon delivery and acceptance thereof. That the parties hereto agree to promptly test said ambulance upon its delivery and upon the written acceptance of said ambulance by the part* of the 2nd part through its Board of Public Safety the above purchase price is to be paid. This contgact is subject to the approval of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
