ORDIYANCE AO. <br />An Ordinance fixing the salaries of certain city officials and <br />employees of the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, and repealing <br />all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict therewith. <br />Be it Ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,.Indiana <br />Section 1. That the annual salaries for the following municipal <br />city officials and employees of the City of South Bend, State of <br />Indiana, for the remainder of the year 1932, and for the entire year <br />of 1933, be, and the same are, hereby fixed to become effective as <br />of June 1, 1932, as follows, to -wit: <br />Mayor's Clerk ;,1,425.00 <br />Controller's Clerk 1,425.00 <br />Superintendent of dater `Works 4,250.00 <br />Street Commissioner 3,230.00 <br />General Foreman of Street'Department 1,980.00 <br />City Sexton 1,900.00 <br />Superintendent of Police and <br />Fire Alarm Signals 3,060.00 <br />Inspector of Weights and,Yleasures 1,900.00 <br />Section 2. That the salaries of the members of the Police and <br />Fire Departments remain as now fixed by ordinance, except that for <br />the remainder of the present year the same be, and are hereby, <br />reduced from and after June 1, 1932, fifteen (15) days pay pro- <br />rated over a twelve month period. <br />Section 3. That the salaries of all other Mon- statutory <br />officials, clerks or employees of the City or of any department <br />thereof are hereby reduced as follows: <br />Those receiving ;3,500.00 or more, fifteen (15) per cent; <br />those receiving less than 03,500.00 and X2,000.00 or more, ten <br />(1o) per cent; those receiving less than ;2,000.00 and .;;1,000.00 <br />
