ORDP'.YCR NO. <br />An ordinance providing for the appointment of a Street Commis- <br />sioner and fixing his salary; eliminating and vacating the office <br />of a Deputy Street Commissioner, and repealing all ordinances and <br />parts of ordinances in conflict therewith. <br />Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana <br />Section 1. That the Board of Public Works of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, be, and hereby is authorized and empowered to appoint <br />a Street Commissioner. <br />Section 2. That the salary of said Street Commissioner shall be <br />Three Thousand. Two Hundred Thirty (4,�3,230.00) Dollars per year, which <br />salary shall be paid at such times as other salaries are paid. <br />Section 3. That the office of a Deputy Street Commissioner be, <br />and. the same is hereby forthwith eliminated, vacated, and declared <br />non - existent. <br />Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 5.
