Talboom Deputy <br />Kareemah Fowler Chief Deputy <br />REPORT FROM THE SUB - COMMITTEE ON MINUTES <br />Councilmember Varner made a motion that the minutes of the July 14, 2014, meeting of the Council be <br />accepted and placed on file. Councilmember Schey seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote <br />of seven (7) ayes. <br />SPECIAL BUSINESS <br />Council Attorney Kathy Farrand recommended a motion to move bill 14 -72 be heard as the first <br />resolution under the Resolution portion of tonight's meeting. So moved by Councilmember Gavin <br />Ferlic so moved. Seconded by Councilmember Schey, which carried forward with a voice vote of <br />seven (7) ayes. <br />BILL NO. 14 -72 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ADOPTING A <br />WRITTEN FISCAL PLAN AND ESTABLISHING A POLICY <br />FOR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES TO AN ANNEXATION <br />AREA IN PENN TOWNSHIP, DELDORA ANNEXATION <br />AREA <br />ANNOUNCEMENT: REPRESENTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATION WILL BE CHIEF <br />OF STAFF KATHRYN ROOS <br />REPORTS OF CITY OFFICES - DEPUTY MAYOR MARK NEAL <br />Deputy Mayor Mark Neal, I would like to remind the public that we began our budget process on the <br />last committee meeting July 14th. Our first formal presentation will be on August l I' on the 2015 <br />budget presenting our priorities. As we look to attract expansions of businesses as well as new <br />businesses.
