Resolution No. 171°? -Y� <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, APPOINTING A CITY NEGOTIATIONS TEAM <br />FOR POLICE AND TEAMSTER NEGOTIATIONS <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend has determined that a <br />unified effort would be in the City's best interest in <br />addressing wage and salary negotiations; <br />WHEREAS, both the Police Department and the Teamster <br />wage ordinances and Teamster's collective bargaining <br />agreement expire this year; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 29, 1989, the Board of Public Safety <br />passed Resolution No. 4 -1989 which appointed a Negotiating <br />Team to represent them regarding possible Police Department <br />Collective Bargaining items, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Administration and Common Council <br />jointly agree to the unified effort of a City Negotiations <br />Team for Police and Teamster Negotiations as the best and <br />most positive approach for representing the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, as follows: <br />SECTION I. The Common Council of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, hereby appoints the following individuals to <br />the City Negotiations Team to represent the City in the <br />upcoming Police and Teamster Negotiations: <br />Thomas L. Bodnar - Teamster Spokesperson <br />Kathleen Cekanski - Farrand - Police Spokesperson <br />Catherine Hubbard <br />Katherine Humphreys - Teamster Chairperson <br />Ann Puzzello - Police Chairperson <br />William Soderberg <br />John Voorde <br />SECTION II.
