ORDINANCE NO. �f 0 °2 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND THE INDIANA AND MICHIGAN <br />ELECTRIC COMPANY. <br />Whereas, heretofore on the 26th day of June, 1933, the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public works, <br />pursuant to a resolution duly adopted, made and entered into <br />the contract with the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company, its <br />successors and assigns, which contract is attached hereto and pade <br />a part of this ordinance. <br />AND, whereas, said contract has been submitted to the Division of <br />Public Service Commission of the Department of Commerce and Industry <br />of the State of Indiana, and approved by it on the 30th day of <br />June, 1933, <br />And whereas, said contract is now submitted to the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for its due approval by ordinance. <br />SECTION 1. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, that the dttached.contract, made and <br />entered into on the 26th day of June, 1933, between the said <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public <br />Works md fthy fterk-and Indiana and Michigan Electric Company, its <br />successors and assigns, be and the same is hereby in all things <br />ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />SECTION 2.
