BETWEEN CARLISLE ST. AND WARREN ST. Mr. Gilot indicated that Theresa Lycznski, 2120 Western Avenue, South Bend, IN 46619, has submitted a request to vacate the above referenced alley. Mr. Gilot advised the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations concerning this Vacation Petition from the Area Plan Commission, Police Department, Community Investment and Engineering. Mr. Corbitt Kerr, Engineering, stated an easement will be needed on the properties' one side of the other to allow long trucks to make turns from northbound alley. Area Plan stated the vacation would not hinder the growth or orderly development of the unit or neighborhood in which it is located or to which it is contiguous. The vacation would not make access to the Iands of the aggrieved person by means of public way difficult or inconvenient. The vacation would not hinder the public's access to a church, school or other public building or place. The vacation would not hinder the use of a public right -of -way by the neighborhood in which it is located or to which it is contiguous. Therefore, Mr. Relos made a motion recommending approval of the request for vacation subject to an easement as defined in a drawing to be prepared by the City Engineer. Ms. Maradik seconded the motion which carried. FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE THE FIRST EAST /WEST ALLEY SOUTH OF LINCOLNWAY WEST FROM IOWA TO FIRST ALLEY /SOUTH Mr. Mr. Gilot indicated that Kayla Patel, PO Box 3454, South Bend, IN 46619, has submitted a request to vacate the above referenced alley. Mr. Gilot advised the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations concerning this Vacation Petition from the Area Plan Commission, Police Department, Fire Department, Solid Waste, Community Investment and Engineering. Mr. Corbitt Kerr, Engineering, stated removal of the alley will prohibit business frontages from being
