' S 4_11_1 A. 21h W' ORDINANCE NO. J SALE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or cor- poration to sell or expose for sale or give away any vile, noxious or offensive smelling or injurious liquid gas or solid substance commonly known or term- ed ttstinking beano or „stench bombe in any form or device from which such liquid gas or solid substance is liberated or is likely to be liberated. SECTION 2. That it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to throw or deposit, or attempt to throw or deposit, or aid or abet in throwing or depositing upon the person or property of another any vile, noxious or offensive smelling or injurious liquid, gas or solid, commonly known or termed as a "stinking beano or a «stench bomb+t--in any form or device, from which such liquid, gaa solid is liberated, or is likely to be liberate ,-and which upon being liberated would molest, discomfort or discommode any person or damage any property -j SECTION . It is hereby made`urilawful for any person to have in his possession or under his control any 11stinking bean" or ttstench bomb" or other device as set forth in Section 1 of this Ordinance, with the intent to use the same in violation of said section or with the intention that the same be used in violation of such section. SECTION 4. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined in any sum not more than Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00), to which may be added imprisonment not ex- ceeding six (6) months. SECTION 5. This Ordinance and after its publication. shall be in full force and effect from passage and approval by the Mayor and legal ER OP THE COMMOF OPUNCIL;-OF THE CITY OF SOUTH D, INDIANA.
