White <br />Daryl Knip, Abonmarche, Denny <br />Swartz, Petitioner, Gary King, <br />Brock Zeeb, Chris Fielding, Jack <br />Smith, Aaron Kobb, Brian <br />Pawlowski, Sam Centellas, <br />media, Kathy Cekanski - Farrand, Council <br />Attorney, Janice Talboom, Deputy Clerk <br />and one other member of the public. <br />Bill 15 -33 5 year Residential Tax <br />Abatement for Tampico Development <br />for Crescent Oaks, Section 3 <br />The Community Investment Committee was called to order by Chair Gavin Ferlic to give <br />consideration to a request for residential property tax abatement for Tampico <br />Development. <br />Motion to accept the substitute version was made by Dr. Fred Ferlic and seconded by <br />Gavin Ferlic. <br />Brock Zeeb from Community Investment gave the presentation. This bill was <br />substituted from the original bill due to the fact they were adding a couple more <br />properties bringing the total amount of homes to 26. Located on the south side of the <br />fairgrounds. A total of 3.9 million would be invested. He then introduced Darryl Knip <br />from Abonmarche Consultants who in turn introduced Denny Swartz the developer from <br />Tampico. Mr. Swartz said the properties were taken over from Weiss Development. He <br />has had good conversation with the neighbors. Councilperson Valerie Schey asked a <br />question about sidewalks but realized she had the wrong development. She meant <br />Lafayette Square. Councilmember Varner said he was working on that one. Mr. Swartz <br />said the paving was started and everything was going well. <br />Dr. Fred Ferlic made a motion to send substituted bill 15 -33 to the full council with a <br />favorable recommendation, seconded by Dr. David Varner. <br />Motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Gavin Ferlic at 4:20pm. <br />
