ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $50,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND FOR THE PUR- POSE OF ACQUIRING THE LAND TAKEN FROM PROPERTY OWNERS, AND THE DAMAGES SUSTAINED IN THF] OPENING OF NORTH MICHIGAN STREET FRO:," NORTH SHORE DRIVE TO THE CITY LIMITS OF SAID CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA =H** Be it ordained by the Common Council of the city of South Bend - Section 1. That the sum of $50,000 be and the same is hereby appro- priated from the General Fund of the city of South Bend to Account No. B -12 -A for the purpose of providing the funds where- with to pay and discharge the damages and awards sustained by property owners in Condemnation Resolution No. 2481 which is for the opening of North Michigan Street between North Shore Drive North to the city limits. And the City Controller is authorized and directed to issue warrants on the Treasury in conformity with said Condemnation Resolution No. 2481 from said fund No. B -12 -A so established. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, legal publication, public hearing and signature by the mayor. y�G� Member of the Common Council.
