-12- <br />Public Health of the City of South Bend. <br />Section XXXVIII. The Board of Health of the City of <br />South Bend are hereby empowered to revoke the license of <br />any employing plumber or journeyman plumber where the <br />provisions of this Ordinance have been violated upon charges <br />brought by the Chief Plumbing Inspector. <br />Section XXXIX. Extra Inspectors and their compensation. <br />The Board of Public Health of the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />are hereby authorized and empowered to appoint one or more <br />deputy Plumbing Inspectors who shall work under the direction <br />of the Chief Plumbing Inspector and who shall receive a <br />salary of One Thousand Eight Hundred ($1,800.00) Dollars <br />per year, payable as other city employees are now paid. <br />Section XL. No licensed employing plumber or journey- <br />man plumber shall act as agent for an employing plumber or <br />journeyman plumber who has not obtained a license from the <br />Examining Board of Plumbers. <br />Section XLI. Hot and cold water required.. All bars <br />and fountains and other places where food and drink, or <br />either, are served generally to the public shall have a <br />constant supply of both hot and cold water during all <br />business hours. This supply shall be run through all <br />bar fixtures, soda fountains or any other places in said <br />business concerns where dishes or glass ware or cooking <br />utensils are cleaned. <br />Section XLII. Definitions of Terms; In this <br />Ordinance the term "main soil pipe" is applied to any <br />pipe above the basement floor connection to the house drain <br />receiving the discharge of one or more water- closets, with <br />or without other fixtures, and extending through and above <br />the roof. <br />The term "branch soil pipe" is applied to any pipe <br />receiving the discharge from one or more water - closets and <br />
