ORDINANCE N0. � <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22 DF AN ORDINANCE <br />NUT,MERED 2682, BEING AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PRODUCTION, <br />GRADING, LABELING, HANDLING, PASTEURIZATION, DISTRIBUTION AND <br />SALE OF MILK, CREAM AND CERTAIN MILK PRODUCTS AND PROVIDING FOR <br />ISSUING LICENSES THEREFOR. <br />Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana; <br />Section 1. That Section 22 of `rdinance Numbered <br />2682 be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Section <br />22 -B, to read as follows: <br />'Section 22 -B. No person, firm or corporation <br />shall deliver any milk and /or cream to any residence except be- <br />tween the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 1 :00 P.M. of any day, provided, <br />however, that the hours during which delivery may be made can be <br />changed by the Secretary of the Board of Health, whenever in his <br />judgment the public health and welfare require such change, pro- <br />vided, however, that this section shall not be applicable in any <br />case where such person, firm or corporation shall have obtained <br />permission, due to an emergency, from the Secretary of the Board <br />of Health to make delivery and operate a vehicle or vehicles <br />during the remaining hours of any day, provided, however, that <br />this section shall not apply to the delivery of raw milk and /or <br />cream for pasteurizing to a licensed pasteurizing plant." <br />Section 2.
