ORDINANCE NO. 3 o S AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FIFTY —FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND TO ACCOUNT #I -12 UNDER THE STREET DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND FOR PAYING THE SPONSORrS SHARE OF WPA PROJECT #165 -52 -1130 FOR THE RE- CONDITIONING AND RESURFACING OF CERTAIN STREETS DESIGNATED IN SAID PROJECT. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Soutp Bend: . Section I - That the sum of Fifty —Five Thousand Dollars ($55,000.00) be and the same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the City of South Bend to Account #I -12 under the Street Depart- ment Budget for the purpose of providing material, equipment, supplies, and labor as the sponsorYs share during 1937 of the Works Progress Administration Project #165 -52 -1130, which has been duly approved. Section II — This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, public hearing, legal publication, signa- ture by the Mayor and approval by the State Tex Board. g BER OF THE =BION COUNCIL I recommend the passage of the foregoing Ordinance.
