Section 21: Permit necessary. The master plumber shall, before starting any work contemplated under this ordinance, obtain a permit, which said permit shall be placed in a conspicuous place on the building where the plumbing work is being performed and which said permit shall be properly signed and filled out by the master plumber in whose name the permit was issued. Section 22: Plumbing Inspector appointment and duties. The Plumbing Inspector shall be appointed by the Board of Health and shall hold office at the will of the appointing board, or until his successor is appointed and qualified. The plumbing Inspector shall ex. eoute a bond in the penal sum of Two Thousand ($2,000.00) dollars, which said bond shall be approved by the City Comptroller for the faithful performance of his duty and shall be executed by some surety company approved by the City Comptroller. Section 25. Wherever the word "Inspector" or "plumbing Inspector" is used in this Ordinance it shall be construed to mean the Plumbing Inspector of the City of South Bend„ Section 26: Fees. A1ik fees collected by the Inspector shall, at the end of each mobth, be paid to the County Treasurer, acting as City Treasurer, and he shall at the same tife file with the City Comptroller a report showing the number of permits issued, and the fees received therefor, together with the Treasurer's reoeipt for the same, He shall also at the end of each year, or sooner if requested make a report and review of his work to the Board of Health.
