Section 21: Permit necessary. The master plumber shall, before <br />starting any work contemplated under this ordinance, obtain a permit, <br />which said permit shall be placed in a conspicuous place on the building <br />where the plumbing work is being performed and which said permit shall <br />be properly signed and filled out by the master plumber in whose name <br />the permit was issued. <br />Section 22: Plumbing Inspector appointment and duties. The <br />Plumbing Inspector shall be appointed by the Board of Health and shall <br />hold office at the will of the appointing board, or until his successor <br />is appointed and qualified. He shall be a practical plumber who has <br />had at least.:thn, - -JiO) years actual experience either as a plumber or as <br />an inspector of plumbing and shall also be a resident of the City of <br />South Bend, <br />Section 24: Necessity of bond. The plumbing Inspector shall ex. <br />eoute a bond in the penal sum of Two Thousand ($2,000.00) dollars, which <br />said bond shall be approved by the City Comptroller for the faithful <br />performance of his duty and shall be executed by some surety company <br />approved by the City Comptroller. <br />Section 25. Wherever the word "Inspector" or "plumbing Inspector" <br />is used in this Ordinance it shall be construed to mean the Plumbing <br />Inspector of the City of South Bend„ <br />Section 26: Fees. A1ik fees collected by the Inspector shall, at <br />the end of each mobth, be paid to the County Treasurer, acting as City <br />Treasurer, and he shall at the same tife file with the City Comptroller <br />a report showing the number of permits issued, and the fees received <br />therefor, together with the Treasurer's reoeipt for the same, He shall <br />also at the end of each year, or sooner if requested make a report and <br />review of his work to the Board of Health. <br />Section 27 Duty, The Plumbing Inspector is hereby direcste'4 to <br />prepare forms for all applications, permits, notices or other statetients <br />required by this ordinance and to furnish same to any person 80tit1iA <br />thereto on request. <br />Section 28: It shall be the duty of the Plumbing Inspector o <br />the City of South Bend to do all things required of him to be dine as <br />
