ORDINANCE NO. 3 j 1 S <br />AN ORDINANCE ratifying, confirming and approving a certa <br />contract and agreement made and entered into by and between the <br />city of South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public <br />Works and Safety and Northern Indiana Railway, Inc. and Raymond <br />R. Smith, Receiver of Northern Indiana Railway, Inc., their <br />successors and assigns, which said contract relates to the opera- <br />tion of vehicles, commonly =mown as motor busses, for the purpose <br />of carrying passengers upon, over and along certain streets and <br />highways in said city. <br />WHEREAS, the-- £oreging contract and agreement has been <br />submitted by said Board of Public Works and Safety of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, and the Northern Indiana Railway, Inc. ands <br />Raymond R. Smith, Receiver of Northern Indiana Railway, Inc. to <br />the Common Council of said cityfor its consideration and action <br />thereon.: THEREFORE, <br />Section One: BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the foregoing contract and <br />agreement made and entered into on the,? <br />day of May, 1937, by <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of <br />Public Works and Safety and the Northern Indiana Railway, Inc. <br />and Raymond R.
