SECTION VI — Before any license shall be issued the City Controller <br />shall inquire into the financial responsibility of any person, per- <br />sons, firm or corporation making application therefor and can W at <br />his discretion deny this applicant a license to hold any such race <br />or automobile contest and his action shall be final. <br />SECTION VII -- That any person, persons, firm or corporation partici- <br />pating in or aiding in or promoting any such race or contest without <br />first complying with.the provisions of this Ordinance, shall upon the <br />violation thereof *. br fined in any sum not less than One Hundred <br />($100.00) Dollars and not more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars to <br />which may be added imprisonment in the County Jail for a period of <br />not more than 30 days.
