Ir <br />4 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3 'L -I- <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE <br />j EXPENSES OF THE FIREMENtS PENSION FUND OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BE- <br />GINNING JANUARY 1, 193, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1938, <br />INCLUDING ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGA^1IONS, <br />AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE <br />EFFECT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana: <br />SECTION I -• That She the expenses of the Firements Pension Fund of <br />said City for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1938, the follow- <br />ing sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out <br />of the funds herein named: and for the purpose herein specified, sub- <br />ject to the laws governing the same. Such sums herein appropriated <br />shall be held to include all expenditures authorized to be made dur- <br />ing the year, unless otherwise expressly stipulated and provided. by <br />law, <br />SECTION <br />II <br />— That for the said fiscal <br />year <br />there is <br />hereby appropriat- <br />ed out <br />of <br />the "Firemen's Pension Fund" <br />of <br />said City, <br />the following: <br />5.
