70 <br />IT- d '� <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING TEE CONTRACT FOR <br />THE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE <br />ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE BOARD OF PUBLIC <br />WORKS AND SAFETY OF TEE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, AND VICTOR W. DE FREESE . <br />WEMEAS, heretofore, to wit: on the day of August, <br />1939, the City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of <br />Public Works and Safety, entered into a contract and agreement with <br />Victor W. DeFreese, for the collection and disposal of garbage in the <br />City of South Bend, which contract is attached to this Ordinance and <br />made a part hereof by reference, and <br />WHEREAS, said'contract`and agreement has been submitted by <br />said Board of Public Works and Safety of the city of South Bend, to the <br />Common Council of said city, for its consideration and action thereon, <br />NOVI, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />Section 1. That the attached contract and agreement made <br />and entered into on the 4,cLday of August, 1939, by the City of South <br />Bend by and through its Board of Public Works and Safety, be and the same <br />is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Section 2.
