ing at the intersection of the St. Joseph River and the northerly* limits of the City of South Bend; thence running southerly and easterly -long the center of the St. Joseph River to the intersec- tion of the center of East Colfax_ Avenue; thence west along the center of Colfax Avenue to the center of Lafayette Boulevard; thence south along the center of Lafayette Boulevard to the center of East Sample Street; thence east along the center of East and West Sample Street to the center of the St. Joseph River and northerly to the center of South Eddy Street; thence north along the center of said South Eddy Street to the center of East Jefferson Boulevard where said East Jefferson Boulevard intersects South Eddy Street; thence easterly and southeasterly along the said Jefferson Boulevard to the center of Logan Street; thence north along the center of Logan Street to the intersection of the Northerly limits of said city; thence rest along the northerly limits end thereafter following the course of the northerly limits mainly in a northerly and westerly direction to the intersection of s aid northerly limits with the center of the St. Joseph River being the place of beginning.
