The physical examination upon which the food handler's <br />certificate is based shall be performed by a physician <br />licensed by the state of Indiana and practising within PHYSICAL EMY1- <br />INATIONS PERFOPMD <br />the boundaries of St. Joseph County, Indiana. The exami- IN ACCORDANCE WITH <br />REGULATIONS PRESCRIBED <br />nations shall be performed in accordance with regulations BY DEPT. OF PUBLIC <br />FE.'! LTH. <br />prescribed bir the Department of Public Health and the <br />findings shall be recorded upon blanks provided by the <br />department for that purpose. Any such physician or <br />Health Officer who gives such certificate of freedom <br />from disease without thorough examination, or who gives <br />such certificate knowing or suspecting the applicant to LAX PHYSICAL EXbl- <br />INATIONS, OR LACK OF <br />have, or to be infected with any communicable disease, FOOD HANDLER'S CER- <br />TIFICATE IN VIOLATION <br />and any employee or other person engaged in the handling OF THIS ORDINANCE <br />of food, without first procuring a food handler's certi- <br />ficate as herein prescribed, showing freedom from any <br />contagious or infectious disease, shall be deemed guilty <br />of a violation of this ordinance and subject to the <br />penalties provided for violation thereof. <br />The food handler's certificate shall not be trans- <br />ferable and shall not be operative after June 1 of each <br />following year. It shall be always available and shall be <br />produced for inspection on demand of health officials, and <br />may be revoked for cause at any time by the Director of <br />Public Health. <br />SECTION 6. That it shall beunlawful to expose for sale <br />in open receptacles or broken packages, vegetables, FR "jIT A:,-,D VEGETABLES <br />TO BE KEPT TWO FEET <br />fruits, or farm produce unless the same shall be kept not ABOVE FLOOR <br />less than two feet above the floor of the building, shop, <br />booth, stall, or other place where the same is exposed for <br />sale. <br />SECTION 7.
