The OVB, by statute, operates out of the City Clerk's
office. One of the OVB's responsibilities is to accept applications, process, and ask the City Council to
approve the issuance of licenses. John said each of the 10 applications had been referred to and
approved by the city departments as required in the enabling ordinance. These include Police, Fire and
Code Enforcement departments. It should be noted, four applications were held back pending approval
from the Fire department.
Without a quorum, no recommendation could be made by the committee.
Karen White adjourned the meeting at 4:08 P.M.
Respectfully Submitted,
Karen L. White, Chairperson
Personal & Finance Committee
