Langel, as Trustee of Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, and as Trustee and overseer of the poor of Portage Town- ship, St. Joseph County, Indiana, for the contribution of $6.75 per man per month taken from the relief rolls of Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, and employed by the Works Progress Administration on projects sponsored by the Municipal City of South Bend, said money to be used by the City of South Bend for the purpose of buying materials for carrying on said projects and keep- ing said men employed and off of the relief rolls of Portage Township, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend that said contract entered into between Alex S. Langel, as Trustee of Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, and Trustee and Overseer of the poor of said Township, and the Board of Public works and Safety of the Municipal City of South Bend, which contract is dated December 4th, 1939, a copy of which is attached hereto, be and the same is hereby in all things confirmed and ratified. r --506er or the Common ci Passed by the Common Council this day of , 1939.
