and <br />WHEREAS, said contract is now submitted to the <br />Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for its <br />due approval by ordinance; <br />SECTION 1. BE IT THEREFORE AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED <br />by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana that <br />the foregoing contract made and entered into on the 11th day <br />of December , 1939, between the said City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, by and through its Board of Public Works, and Indiana <br />Corporation, <br />& Ivichigan Electric Company, an Indiana its successors and <br />assigns, be and the same is hereby in all things ratified, con- <br />firmed and approved. <br />SECTION 2.
