RESOLUTION NO./ 79- <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND DESIGNATING CERTAIN <br />AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND COMMONLY KNOWN AS <br />4300 QUALITY DRIVE <br />AN ECONOMIC REVrl'ALIZATION AREA FOR <br />PURPOSES OF PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR <br />ACCURIDE INDIANA, INC. <br />WHEREAS, a petition for personal property tax abatement consideration has been filed with the <br />Common Council of the City of South Bend, requesting that the area commonly known as (street <br />address), South Bend, Indiana, and which is more particularly described as follows: <br />Parcel I: <br />Lot Numbered Eight (8) as shown on the recorded Plat of Landmark Business Park, Section Six, <br />Part One, recorded October 19, 1989 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana, <br />as Instrument No. 8928004. <br />Parcel II: <br />A tract of land in the North Half of Section 19, Township 38 North, Range 2 East, City of South <br />Bend, German Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, said tract being more particularly described <br />as follows: <br />Commencing at the North Quarter corner of said Section 19; thence South 00 054'38" East on the <br />along the East line of said Northwest Quarter 110.75 feet to the South right -of -way line of Brick <br />Road; thence North 88 °47'24" West on and along said South line a distance of 845.29 feet; <br />thence South 00 °52'04" East a distance of 679.54 feet, said point being the true place of <br />beginning; thence continuing South 00 °52'04" East a distance of 175.75 feet to PC of a 25.00 <br />foot radius curve to the right; thence along said curve through a central angle of 49 °40'45 ", a <br />chord length of 21.00 feet which bears South 23 058'19" West, an arc distance of 21.68 feet to <br />a point of reverse curve with a 60.00 foot radius curve to the left; thence along said curve <br />through a central angle of 93 047'08 ". a chord length of 87.60 feet which bears South 01'55'07' <br />West, an arc distance of 98.20 feet; thence South 45 °01'33" West a distance of 25.00 feet; thence <br />South 89 °55'38" West a distance of 395.50 feet; thence North 00 052'04" West a distance of <br />300.00 feet; thence North 89 055'38" East a distance of 426.53 feet to the place of beginning. <br />Subject to legal highways. <br />and this property has Key Numbers 25 -1017 -0604, 25 -1017 -0602 and 25 -1017- 0602.01, be <br />designated as an Economic Revitalization Area under the provisions of Indiana Code 6- 1.1- 12.1 -1 <br />et seq., and South Bend Municipal Code Sections 2 -76 et seq., and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Economic Development has concluded an investigation and <br />prepared a report with information sufficient for the Common Council to determine that the area <br />qualifies as an Economic Revitalization Area under Indiana Code 6 -1.1- 12.1 -1 et seg. , and South <br />Bend Municipal Code Sections 2 -76 et sea., and has further prepared maps and plats showing <br />the boundaries and such other information regarding the area in question as required by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the Human Resources and Economic Development Committee of the Common <br />Council has reviewed said report and recommended to the Common Council that the area <br />qualifies as an Economic Revitalization Area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, as follows: <br />
