ORDINANCE N0. _336 � <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR TEE PURCHASE <br />OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR THE USE OF THE CITY WATER <br />WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />Whereas, the City Water Works of the city of South <br />Bend, Indiana, is required to make numerous main extensions; <br />and, <br />Whereas, it is advisable and desirable that certain <br />mechanical equipment be used in such work. <br />Now therefore, be it resolved by the Cp*% n <br />of the city of South Bend, Indiana, that: <br />gz <br />Section 1. The contract between the ( Wait <br />of the city of South Bend, Indiana, and R. 0.4,Urfcin Cgp�any <br />of Chicago, Illinois, whereby the said Water Works ytfvdijised <br />certain equipment be, and the same is hereby approved and <br />ratified. <br />Section 2o The said contract calls for the purchase <br />by the City Water Works of the city of South Bend, Indiana, <br />of the following described equipment: <br />1 Allis- Chalmers Model "VM" Tractor $1830.00 <br />1 Electric Starter 110.00 <br />1 Baker Bulldozer, Model 209A <br />Excavator Type 920.00 <br />86 , <br />Less 4% discount 115.00 <br />,12745.00 <br />Section 3.
