v 6>� I I � I i I I I i i o 0 ORDINANCE NO. .3.336 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF BARRETT LAW BONDS AND COUPONS, AND TIE INTEREST OF THE CITY WITH RESPECT THERETO, ISSUED BY SAID CITY IN - CONNECTION WITH IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTIONS NOS. 1863 AND 1923. BE IT ORDAINED AND RESOLVED: By the Common Council of City of South Bend that the City of South Bend sell, assign, transfer and convey: Barrett Law bonds and coupons for the year 1931 owned by the City of South Bend; and issued pursuant to Resolution No. 1863, pro- viding for McKinley Avenue pavement from Sun yside to Greenlawn, Roll No. 2144; and Barrett Law bonds and coupons for the year 1931 owned by the City of South Bend, and issued pursuant to Resolution No. 1923, pro- viding for McKinley Avenue pavement from Greenlawn to Twenty- Second Street, Roll No. 2235; and All of the right, title and interest of said City in and to any assessments levied on account of said bonds owned by said City: to INLAND BONDING COMPANY, a corporation, for the sum of ONE THOUSAND ($1,000) DOLLARS, and for the further consideration of the delivery to said City by said Inland Bonding Company of a release duly executed by it, releasing and discharging said City of and from any liability of any kind or nature that exists, or may exist in favor of said Inland Bonding Company on account of its ownership of bonds and coupons issued by said City of South Bend, pursuant to said Resolutions Nos. 1863 and 1923; and the Mayor is hereby ordered, directed and authorized to execute and ver to said Inland Bonding Company upon the payment of said sum. -of money and upon the delivery to said City of said release a food and sufficient assignment of said property sold; and this be s fficient authority to him sal emises.
