ORDINANCE NO. �3 <br />AN ORDINANCE REDUCING CERTAIN APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE <br />HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR THE YEAR 1940, AND TRAANSFERRING <br />THE AMOUNT SO REDUCED TO THE GENERAL FUND. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, <br />Section 1. That the following appropriation for the year <br />1940 in the Health Department of the city of South Bend, be reduced in <br />the amounts hereinafter set out, and that said money'.so appropriated <br />revert to the General Fund of the city of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Appropriation for salaries under.Budgetary Item U -1 be <br />reduced in the amount of $360.00. <br />Telephone appropriation under Budgetary Item U -2 be <br />reduced inthe amount of :5.00. <br />Clothing appropriation under Budgetary Item U -7 be reduced <br />in the amount of $75.00. <br />Appropriation for coal under Budgetary Item T -11 be reduced <br />in the amount of $92.00. , <br />Appropriation "for coal under Budgetary Item U -6 be reduced <br />in the amount of $12.75. <br />Appropriations for food under Budgetary Item T -10 be reduced <br />in the amount of -- :167.29. <br />Appropriations for medical supplies under Budgetary Item T -11 <br />be reduced in the amount of $100.00; the total amount of reductions being <br />$812.04. <br />Section 2.
