ORDINANCE N0. 3 FROM THE &JA6/ YMEREAS, they 1 City of South Bend, Indiana, in its 1941 budget failed to appropriate sufficient funds for use of its Department of Public Parks in the purchase of building materials and the payment of salaries and wages, temporary, and for service personal, regular, during the calendar year of.1941, and WHEREAS, The Department of Public Parks of the City of South Bend, Indiana, is now without sufficient funds with which to purchase the building materials and to pay for salaries and wages, temporary, and for service personal, regular, during the balance of the calendar year 1941, and i".'HEREAS, an emergency now exists in respect to these matters, NOW, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Section 1. That the sum of Four Hundred Fifty -five and Fifty - seven Hundredths ollars (#455.5 ) be appropriated from the general fund of the CGity.of South Bind, to the building materials account of The Department of Public Parks known as Budgetary Item No. 41, in the 1941 Budget of The Department of Public Parks of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
