ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE NUMBERED 3146 AND ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE REG "ULATING TRAFFIC UPON THLPUBLIC STREETS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND REPEALING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES AND SECTIO ?NS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERMTH °. Whereas.. it is` °deemed advisable that ordinance Numbered 3146 of the ordinances of the City of South Bend entitled "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND REPEALING H^:REIIITH" be amended; Now, therefore, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: SECTION I. The aforesaid ordinance so numbered and so entitled be, and the same is hereby amended so that each sec- tion or clause thereof as hereinafter indicated shall read as herein set forth. The sections and clauses as stated herein to replace or to be added to the sections and clauses therein con- tained: follows: follotArs : A. Section 3, clause (b) of Article I shall read as A steam engine or other motor, with or without cars coupled thereto, operated upon rails except electric trains. B. Section 3, clause (c) of Article I shall read as (c) "ELECTRIC TRAIN ". A car, or cars cou.:led together, other than a railroad train, for transporting persons or property and operated upon rails. C. In each of the articles, sections and clauses herein set forth, the term "street car" shall be stricken and the term "electric train° shall be inserted, to- wit, in the following:
