ORDINANCE NC. ✓� <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TAX LEVY FOR THE YEAR 1942 <br />FOR THE MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />Section 1. Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana: <br />That there be and hereby is levied the following amounts for <br />the year 1942 on each one Hundred Dollars (1.1 00.00) of assessed <br />valuation of property in the City of South Bend, Indiana, as fixed <br />by the officers of St. Joseph County, and the State of Indiana, for <br />the objects named: <br />Section 2. There shall be levied a Poll Tax of Fifty Cents (x.50) <br />on every male inhabitant of said City, sane and not a pauper, of the <br />age of Twenty -One years and not over the age of Fifty years. <br />Section 3.
