ORDINANCE NO.o '=� / <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE - <br />$Y'HE BOARD OF WATER WORKS TRUSTEES <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND INDIANA <br />OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE. <br />WHEREAS, certain departments of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, either now require or will soon require additional <br />space for their efficient operation; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Water Works of the City of Solith Bend <br />will require additional space for its efficient operation; and, <br />WHEREAS, a certain piece of real estate hereinafter <br />described,Neontiguous to property now owned by the City of South <br />Bend and used by it as its City Fall; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is possible for the Water Works of the <br />City of South Bend to obtain such contiguous land at an advantageous <br />price, <br />NOW, TIiEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by t he Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend, that: <br />1. The Board of Water Works Trustees of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana, is hereby authorized to <br />purehase the real estate owned and described as - <br />All of Lot 8 of the original plat <br />of the City of South Bend-, excepting <br />the North 22 feet thereof, <br />in accordance with the terms of a purchase agreement, a <br />copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br />2.
