ORDINANCE #216-67 <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING CERTAIN FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL <br />FUND OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND FOR EMERGENCY PURPOSES. <br />WH;-REAS, the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, in its Budget <br />for the year 1941 failed to appropriate sufficient funds for <br />Repairs of Equipment in both the Street Department and the <br />Police Department, accounts known as I -3A and P -10 respectfully <br />during the calend6l.K year of 1941, and <br />WHEREAS, the Street Department and the Police Department <br />are now without sufficient funds with which to purchase parts <br />and other services needed in the repair of their equipment, <br />during the balance of the calends year of 1941, and <br />matters, <br />WHEREAS, an emergency now exists in respect to these <br />Now, be it ordained, by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana: <br />Section 1. That the sum of six hundred dollars ($600.00) <br />be appropriated from the general fund of the Civil City of <br />South Bend, Indiana to the repairs of equipment account of <br />the Street Department known as budgetary item No. -I -3A in <br />the 1941 Budget of the General Fund of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana. <br />Section 11. That the sum of twelve hundred dollars <br />$1200.00) be appropriated from the general fund of the Civil <br />City of South Bend to the Repairs of Equipment Account of <br />the Police Department known as budgetary item P -10 in the <br />1941 Budget of the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Ind. <br />Section 111.
