RESOLUTION NO. �/ <br />A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ADOPTION OF A DECLARATORY RESOLUTION DESIGNATING <br />CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS 2422 <br />VIRIDIAN DRIVE TO BE AN ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION AREA FOR THE PURPOSES OF A <br />THREE YEAR REAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR <br />JOHN R. & LAI -LO GOULD <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South <br />Declaratory Resolution designating certain areas <br />Economic Revitalization Areas for the purpose of <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a Declaratory Resolution designated the <br />Viridian Drive, South Bend, Indiana and which is <br />follows: <br />Bend, Indiana, has adopted a <br />within the the City as <br />tax abatement consideration; <br />area commonly known as 2422 <br />more particularly described as <br />That part of the Southeast quarter of Section 28, T. 38 N., R. 2 <br />E., City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana which is described as: <br />Beginning at a point which is the intersection of the West Right of Way line of <br />Bendix Drive and the North line of of Viridian Drive which is n. 00'- 02' -06" <br />W., 771.89 ft. from a Point on the South line of said Section which is N.90'- <br />00'-00" W. (assumed bearing). 40.00 ft. from an iron in a Monument Box marking <br />the Southeast Corner of said Section ; thence around a 40.00 ft. Radius curve <br />to the Right an Arc distance of 72.33 ft. to the end of a chord which bears S. <br />51'- 46' -11" w. and having a distance of 62.87 ft.; thence around a 210.00 ft. <br />Radius curve to the Right an Arc distance of 77.97 ft. to the end of a chord <br />which bears n. 65'- 47' -20" W. and having a distance of 77.52 ft.; thence around <br />a 586.97 ft. Containing 4.92 Acres. <br />and which has Key Number 25 1010 040804, be designated as an Economic <br />Revitalization Area; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of a Declaratory Resolution and the public <br />hearing before the Council has been published pursuant to the Indiana Code <br />6 -1.1- 12.1 -2.5; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council held a public hearing for the purposes of hearing all <br />remonstrances and objections from interested persons; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the qualifications for an economic <br />revitalization area have been met. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, as follows: <br />1 <br />
