RESOLUTION NO. �3I5 <br />A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ADOPTION OF A DECLARATORY <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS <br />2740 VIRIDIAN DRIVE, SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />TO BE AN ECONOMIC <br />REVITALIZATION AREA FOR PURPOSES OF A SIX (6) YEAR REAL <br />PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR <br />Communications Test Design, Inc.'s Expansion <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, has adopted a <br />Declaratory Resolution designating certain areas within the City as Economic Revitalization <br />Areas for the purpose of tax abatement consideration; and <br />WHEREAS, a Declaratory Resolution designated the area commonly known as 2740 Viridian <br />Drive, South Bend, Indiana and which is more particularly described as follows: <br />A part of the Southeast Quarter (1/4) of Section Twenty -eight (28), Township <br />Thirty-eight (38) North, Range Two (2) East, of the Second Principal Meridian, <br />City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana and described as follows: <br />Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter (1/4) of said <br />Section 28, said point being at the intersection of Bendix and Boland Drives; <br />thence South 89 °58'56" West (bearing assumed) along the Southerly right -of -way <br />line of Boland Drive 1502.51 feet; thence South 00 °21'33" West, 293.00 feet to <br />the Point of Beginning; thence North 89 °58'56" East, 520.01 feet; thence South <br />00 °21'33" West, 293.00 feet; thence South 89 058'56" West, 520.01 feet; thence <br />North 00 °21'33" East 293.00 feet to the Point of Beginning. <br />Subject to legal highways. <br />with said real estate having the following Key No. 25- 1010 - 040026, as an Economic <br />Revitalization Area; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of a Declaratory Resolution and the public hearing before <br />the Council has been published pursuant to Indiana Code 6- 1.1- 12.1 -2.5; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council held a public hearing for the purposes of hearing all remonstrances <br />and objections from interested persons; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the qualifications for an economic revitalization <br />area have been met. <br />
