E' AN ORDINANCE REDUCING THE PROPRIATION FOR REPAIRS OF BUILDINGS AN STRUCTURES \, IN THE CEMETERY DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA IN THE AMOUNT OF $500.00; APPROPRIATING $500.00 TO THE PROPERTIES - OTHER EQUIPMENT FUND OF THE CEMETERY DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA; DECLARING AN WHEREAS certain amounts appropriated for the repairs of buildings and structures of the Cemetery Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana will not be used during the year 19439 be- cause of an inability to obtain necessary materials, and WHEREAS certain mechanical equipment is essential for the proper operation of said Cemetery Department because of the existing shortage of manpower, and WHEREAS the Cemetery Department of said City is unable to purchase said necessary mechanical equipment because of a lack of funds in the proper account, Now, therefore, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana that; Section 1. The account known as the "Repairs of Buildings and Structures' account of the City Cemetery Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana, said account being identified as budgetary account N251, be, and the same is hereby reduced in amount by the deduction therefrom of $500.00, which $500.00 is now transferred from said account to the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana. Section 2. The amount of $500.00 be, and the same is hereby transferred from the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana to budget of the City Cemetery Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and appropriated for the uses and purposes of the "Properties- other equipment" account of said department, said account being identi- fied as Budgetary Account N726.
